I'm still amazed at the amount of excellent data you have provided on the CD. I would have given a months pay to have this when I was an engineer for United Airlines at the San Francisco Maintenance Base. I was an alternate for the Standards Engineer and when he went on vacation or a trip, I was responsible for finding all the hardware that anyone needed. Your CD would have saved me many hours of digging the information out of the "books".
John: Just wanted to send you a note of appreciation for your Mechanics Toolbox program.
I haven't worked "hands on" on our company aircraft for a number of years, having been relegated to running a computer, but I keep my hand in working on a couple of classic and antique machines. I obtained a copy of Mechanics Toolbox about a year ago specifically for the manual on the Eiseman Mag, and to be honest I really hadn't looked at the rest of the program.
While cleaning up my system in preparation to being put out to pasture I finally remedied that omission. What a little jewel! The information contained equal or exceeds my four foot shelf of reference material, and it's up to date and instantly accessible. I will certainly order an updated copy when I am re established and I am sure that it will become a reference of choice. Thanks again
